RouAF Fast Jet Fighter Pilot, Chief Pilot & SQ. Intel Officer

Initially placed on Subsonic Fighter Jets for jet hour building, the training program was focused on navigation, aerobatics and basic fighting maneuvers. In 2004 I completed the MiG-21 LanceR Fast Jet Fighter Qualification / Type Rating Program. Once qualified, I completed Advanced Jet Training in Air to Ground Combat.

At the end of 2006 I was promoted to Flight Chief Pilot and had more fighter pilots under my command. In addition, in 2007 I obtained my “Combat Ready” Status and gained experience flying alongside Romanian and USAFE Pilots in both simulated and real combat missions. In January 2010 I was certified as fully qualified for technical test flights on all MiG-21L versions.

I ended my RouAF career as Fighter Squadron Intel Officer, #4 in Command Line, flying Fast Jet Fighters as operational fighter pilot, having confidential responsibilities as Sq. Intel Officer and representing RouAF as display pilot at National and International Air Shows.
